Relief materials mainly include life jackets, raincoats, waterproof boots, towels, medicines, woven bags, fire extinguishers, and phones. Qu explained that the company, especially a petrochemical company and, more importantly, one directly under central government control, needs to make a greater effort to improve its sense of social responsibility, develop a keen awareness of the need for disaster prevention and relief, consolidate the management and maintenance of relief materials so they will all be stored safely, and follow the principle of reserve measures for unexpected events. Qu went on to ask more about our elaborate efforts to maintain a materials reserve, and extended his thanks to the company for our contribution to the local economy, on behalf of the municipal government.
The company also expressed its thanks to the municipal government for its continued support of and care for the enterprise. At the same time, the company suggested that central enterprises should accept their own social responsibility for greater progress and local economic development through safer production and technological innovation.
